Health and Safety is undoubtedly the most important element of any project. Shared responsibility by the client and the contractor permeates every stage and process.
Anyone having construction or building work carried out has legal duties under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM 2007), unless they are a domestic client. We can help by appointing a CDM Coordinator.
Follow the link to the HSE Guide to CDM Regulations. http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg411.pdf
All of our workforce are CSCS registered. CSCS cards provide a consistent means for principal contractors to demonstrate to you that they check workers’ training and qualifications before allowing access to the site.

Every project has a risk assessment and method statement and this is broken down from the scope of work to environmental controls.
Asbestos Awareness and Non-Licenced Removal are the two mandatory training qualifications that get embedded within our staff.
So with the importance of Health and Safety in mind, asbestos is always deemed to be the silent killer if disturbed and incorrectly handled. One of our recent projects was held up by the discovery of asbestos and it was peace of mind for the site that our staff knew what to do from the very first sighting.
We also carry an upper tier waste carriers licence so that we can remove debris from any site, safely and more importantly, legally.
